Over the years, DSD has had the opportunity to perform in many local events such as fall festivals and community parades, as well as some events held in Atlanta. Our first Atlanta event was in 1989 when our dancers performed at the Egleston's Festival of Trees, which became an annual event for us. In the summer of 1996, we were invited to perform at the Opening Ceremonies of the Summer Olympics being held in Atlanta. In 2007, DSD was invited to perform in the televised Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Parade. This became an annual event for several years. Most recently, our dancers have performed locally in the Douglasville Christmas parade.
