Preschool Ballet & Tap
Our preschool dancers will learn coordination, rhythm & balance skills, which gives a great foundation for a technical dance education. In this class, pre-ballet and pre-tap skills are introduced in a very fun atmosphere. Dancers will enjoy many exercise games, and fun songs that help produce a love of dance. This is a 60 minute class.
Combination Class: Elementary Ballet & Tap
This class is for dancers in early elementary school. In this class, dancers make a big transition from preschool work to a more advanced level of tap and ballet. The classes are more disciplined and structured. Parents really begin to see the reasons for preschool classes at this age. This is a 60 minute class.
Combination Class: Ballet, Tap and Jazz
The combination classes are divided by ages and grades for dancers in 2nd thru 8th grade. Dancers are involved in serious dance instruction in the areas of all ballet, tap and jazz work. This class is held in a strict, disciplined atmosphere which consists of stretching, barre, center floor, across the floor, and much technical work. This is a 90 minute class.
Pointe
This class is for serious ballet dancers 12 years and older, depending on their ballet education, strength, ability, self-discipline and maturity. Qualifications are individualized. It is encouraged for every qualified dancer to try for at least a year for the experience. This is a 30-45 minute class.
Hip Hop
This is for dancers 3rd grade and above. This is high impact class combining fun and energetic moves mixed with up-tempo music! The class consists of freestyle dance with quick choreography. This is a 45 minute class.
Contemporary
This class is for dancers 3rd grade and above. In this class, dancers focus on using total body movement and creative freedom to express emotions through dance. This is a 45 minute class.
High School Classes
Class options include tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary and hip-hop. These classes involve serious instruction in each individual class. Dancers must be self-disciplined, committed and have an understanding of intermediate-advanced dance skills. Each individual class is 45 minutes.
